Custom mapping projects with Maponics involve a multi-stage process. It all starts with dialog between you and one of our experts to make sure we completely understand your needs. This gets translated into a service agreement, allowing you to read the precise specifications for your project. If it’s not what you need, you can modify the arrangement before any work begins. We take service agreements very seriously, as a sign of our obligation to fulfill your desired service, and we encourage our customers to take the agreement equally seriously. Once we have your sign-off to proceed, we complete the project. Due to this thoroughness, we rarely encounter scenarios where refunds are requested.
Custom maps are made-to-order and cannot be “restocked” the way many retail products can. Here are some explanations about how we handle refunds. Please note that our online store has it’s own refund policy.
We Made An Error
If the map does not meet the specifications of the service agreement, please contact your sales representative right away.
We’ll take a moment to review the service agreement and understand your request. Then we will make sure that the map meets all of the specifications and rework the map ASAP if needed.
You Would Like Some Changes That Were Not Part of the Service Agreement
Please contact your sales representative, who would be happy to price out the additional features for you.
You Ordered Correctly, but We Sent You The Wrong Map
If we accidentally sent the wrong map, please contact your sales representative immediately.
You Have Simply Changed Your Mind
Our service agreements include a cancelation fee if you cancel before completion. But if the project is complete, then the custom digital maps or printed maps are not refundable.
Errors Found in Map Information
While we make every attempt to provide the most accurate maps possible at reasonable prices, we cannot guarantee small errors will not exist. All the maps contain disclaimers about the map
accuracy/use and generally are not returnable. If you find what you think are significant errors, please email us at info@maponics.com telling us what map you have and what the error is. At our discretion, we may provide a new version at no additional charge.
