ZIP+4 Data, ZIP+2 boundaries, 3 Digit ZIP Codes and More

ZIP+4 GIS Data
There are over 51,000,000 ZIP+4s (or nine digit ZIP Codes) in the United States (and approximately 42,000 ZIP Codes, by comparison). Using continual ZIP+4 data feeds from the USPS, we carefully match each ZIP+4 address range to our up-to-date street network and then spatially assign it a latitude and longitude center point (also known as a ZIP+4 centroid). ZIP+2 Boundaries
Maponics ZIP+2 boundaries represent the geographic area assigned to the first 7 digits of the ZIP+4 code (or nine-digit ZIP Code). For example 98211-0011 and 98211-0029 are both in the ZIP+2 of 98211-00.
Does your organization tie delivery zones to the ZIP+2 boundary level (also called postal sector level)? Our highly accurate proprietary process first captures residential and business ZIP+4 codes. We use multiple data feeds, including monthly USPS data, to ensure completeness as we rigorously link this ZIP+4 data to every US block. ZIP+4’s are then aggregated into a single polygonal ZIP+2 boundary record for each ZIP+2 feature, regardless of the number of polygons that constitute it.
