About Us
In 2001, Maponics was founded as a GIS services company focused on providing a full range of customized maps and GIS solutions. During this early phase, we significantly expanded our expertise and infrastructure, along with our list of satisfied customers. Working with companies in a variety of industries—both large and small—we recognized two distinct market needs:
GIS Data
Organizations looking to integrate GIS data with internal databases and display map layers on the web wanted a consistent and accurate source for specialized GIS datasets covering large geographic areas. As a result, we have developed and sell School, Neighborhood, ZIP Code, and Carrier Route Boundaries products to Industries such as Real Estate, Search/Local Search, and Direct Marketing. These and other industries use our GIS data products for everything from internal GIS to enabling better search in mobile applications.
Maps and Reports
Regional and small companies looking to expand locations, create balanced sales territories, or simply see their locations on maps, needed a quick and cost-effective way to generate custom maps online. As a result, we created the Maponics Online Store to offer hundreds of mapping options for ZIP Codes, Carrier Routes, Address Lists, Reports, and Data.
We also continue to offer custom GIS services and now leverage not only our vast experience but also our portfolio of GIS datasets to deliver a broad set of services.
Charitable Activities
At Maponics, we believe that it is important for us to contribute to society and our community. In keeping with this vision, we donate a portion of company profits to a variety of charitable organizations. In addition, employees are encouraged to volunteer their time to community organizations through community service days.
