ZIP Code Shapefile
ZIP Code shapefile is the most common database file format requested by Maponcis customers looking to use and integrate our ZIP Code data. ESRI shapefiles are a geospatial vector format that descibe points, polylines, and polygons. The file extension for shapefiles is .shp. In additon to ZIP Code shapefiles, Maponics offers ZIP Code data in Mapinfo Tab format (.tab), Keyhole Markup Language (.kml) which is used for Google display, and database loadable Well-known text (.wkt), MySQL (.sql) and the open source PostGIS (.sql).
